Yet again another great bag of goodies from Ipsy. I can't say that everything was a hit for me, but non the less a great bag. This bag was a great bag, but was it worth the $10.00? At first glance I thought no, but after looking up the prices of the items, I would say most defiantly worth the $10.00!
My first not so favs would be the Nourish Organic face lotion. My only complaint was the smell. I could not get over the sent to even try it, and thats just a personal preference. I can't tell you how it performed, since I past on this product.
The second product I was not so excited about was the Proactive mark fading pads. I probably will try them some time in the future. Just at this moment not too excited about them.
Now on to the goodies, the "Smooth Shadow" creamy eye pencil was not what I had expected. This products is pretty impressive! At first glance I thought this was another nude eyeliner (great, like I need another eyeliner). Nope, this is a skinny shadow stick. I swatched this baby and was amazed at what I saw. A shimmer, cream colored shadow! This would do some amazing highlights in the corner of the eye.
There was a deep conditioner for the hair by "Briogeo." I have never heard of this company before, but I am extremely excited to try this.
Last but not least this bag had a tinted lip balm by "Mica Beauty" in shade #6 Fiesta. This is not a tint, let me repeat that. THIS IS NOT A TINT! This is a lip color that stains. Don't get me wrong. I love this product. It's a unique one by far. At first glance, I thought to myself (Great, another lip gloss in a jar. Just what I need, NOT!). This is a lip color in my opinion. At first swatch you get one color, as you work it in, it transforms to another. On the lips it feels like an oil based product. It's not sticky, tacky, glossy or glittery. This has a sheen to it, great texture and wears beautifully. My lips looked fuller. I have a Mica Beauty near me, I will be looking into purchasing more. I was that impressed. I highly recommend looking into this product.
* Wowzer, I can't get over how much the Mica Beauty tint is. I love it, and still will be going out to purchase more.
